There is established a basic user charge for the use of and for service supplied by
the wastewater facilities of the village. The basic user charge shall include charge
for operation and maintenance, replacement costs, and a debt service charge.
(b)
The minimum charge shall be $28.00 per month ($84.00 per quarter) and shall be applied
to all users whose water consumption does not exceed 7,500 gallons per month. The
minimum charge shall consist of $17.20 for operation and maintenance, $6.00 for replacement
costs, and a debt service charge of $4.80. In addition, the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Godfrey shall hereafter review the sewer user charges for the sewage system
on an annual basis and such review shall provide sewer user charges sufficient to
cover all costs of debt service, operation and maintenance of the sewage system for
the Village of Godfrey and annual adjustments to the sewer user charges shall be enacted
by the village board following the close of each fiscal year to become effective on
July 1 of each following fiscal year.
