§ 6-59. Suspension or revocation of any license.

  • The local liquor control commissioner of the village may suspend for not more than 30 days or revoke for cause any license issued under the provisions of this article for any one or more of the following reasons:

    (1)

    For a violation by the licensee, his agent or servant, of any of the provisions of the laws of this state in relation to alcoholic liquors or dramshops.

    (2)

    For a violation by the licensee, his agent or servant, of any of the provisions or regulations made by this chapter, or if the licensee is no longer qualified to receive a license pursuant to section 6-55.

    (3)

    For the making by the licensee of any false statement as to a material fact in any application for a license.
