§ 38-71. Guidelines adopted.

(a)

The village adopts the "Guidelines for Infection Control," which was published in 1999 by the Alliance of Professional Tattooists, Inc., as its official guidelines for infection control in a tattoo and body piercing parlor located within the village. A copy of the guidelines shall be on file with the village clerk.

(b)

Anyone who owns or operates a tattoo and body piercing parlor within the village shall be bound by the guidelines adopted by this section. Should the owner or operator violate any of these guidelines at any time, that owner or operator shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-10.
